FAQ: FAQ

Who can benefit from Health Coaching?

Pretty much everyone! Most people struggle in one area or another and would like to (or need to) make some changes in their diet and/or lifestyle to improve their overall well-being but it is hard to get started and to do it on your own. No matter if you made the decision yourself or if you are following your doctor's order I will support you in setting goals, taking steps to achieve them and to hold you accountable.
If you are dealing with any medical issues, please contact your health care provider prior to signing up.

What does Integrative Nutrition mean?

The term is referring to the theory that the food on our plate is only secondary and that our primary food in the form of relationships, career, physical exercise, sleep, joy and other aspects of our life is equally as important to living a happier, healthier life.
I am not a nutritionist or dietitian or doctor but I have training in a holistic approach to wellness where we blend the two areas of food together to find out what nourishes you on and off the plate.

How can I get in touch with you and where do we start?

Send me an email (freya@heartsoulbelly.com), call me or click on the form on the contact page to schedule your first session.
Our first meeting (the Health Journey Exploration Session) is always free and noncommittal. We will go over some forms I will email you ahead of our appointment and decide if and how you can benefit from my program.

How long is the program?

The initial Health Coaching program takes place over the course of 6 months with two 50-min meetings per month (12 sessions).
Six months is the time it takes to adapt new habits and to establish new routines and
- most importantly - stick to them.

Where did you do your training?

I received my certification from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition in New York (IIN), the world's leading health coaching and integrative nutrition school.
IIN has been around for 30 years with graduates in 175 countries and a broad variety of visiting faculty, many of them leaders in their field.

What else is included in the price of your program?

In addition to our 12 coaching sessions I offer - depending on your focus and needs -  optional services in different areas (grocery store tours, pantry makeovers, yoga sessions, access through email or texts between sessions, etc.) to support you and your goals.
